Do I need professional pictures or portfolio?
We will need a head shot and full body picture and any video links that can be viewed for experience and stage presence. When you fill out the submission form you can attach these items to it.
Can Companies choose their own models?
Yes- Companies will be able to choose their models from our Models Menu once models are approved. If you would like to work with a curtain company then please indicate that in your submission form. If you have been contacted by a company for the fashion show then you still are required to fill out the submission form and indicate that a company has requested you.
Is there a model minimum & max per company?
Yes, 10 models max per company unless approved otherwise. Male models will not considered a part the 10 models per company.
When is the Fashion Show rehearsal?
The Mandatory rehearsal will take place the morning of the fashion show. You will not be required to do a dress rehersal. We will only be doing the walk through.
Is rehearsal mandatory?
Yes, Due to the High volume of people involved in the production, it is necessary to review all walk throughs to ensure a good presentation of each segment of the companie and models. We have the right to remove any company or model if it conflicts with our Rules and Regulations and Terms and Conditions.
Will models be getting paid & who will be responsible for payment?
All companies will be responsible for compensating their models either by payment, Viva Las Vegas Wristbands or agreement between company and model can be arranged as well. Viva Las Vegas New Orleans and Rockin Kitty Productions will not be responsible for any accommodations/Transportations/Wristbands or any agreements between companies and models. We will however keep track of any complaints for future reference. We pride on bringing a fair production for all in involved.
Do I have to buy a VLV wristband to participate in the Fashion Show?
No, but we do recommend you buying a wristband so you can enjoy your entire weekend. There are many things to do at Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender. We would hate for you to travel so far and not be able to enjoy the rest of the weekend.
What do I do if I have to drop out of the fashion show once I have been approved?
Please be considerate towards companies times as well as our teams time. We only want serious inquiries only. Should you have to cancel please notify Catherine Garcia (Coordinator) in writing via email stating reason for cancellation. email: rockinkittyproductions@yahoo.com
When will we be getting our fashion show wristbands?
The day of the Rehearsal. This is considered check in time.
Who is to be contacted if we lose our backstage wristband?
Catherine Garcia (Coordinator). All this information will be given to all models once they have been approved.
Is there a guest list for our Friends & Family who would like to attend?
No there is no guest list for the fashion show. No family members, boyfriends, and friends are allowed back stage. Any guest that will be there for the fashion show only need to be checked in with the Coordinator so we can make proper arrangements for seating. Can not guarantee anything if guests do not arrive early mainly because there is a high volume of guests entering the showroom- We can not guarantee the reserves if arrivals are not on time.
